Mt Pleasant

Completed in just three months for the clients’ wedding, this Mt Pleasant garden was photographed only two months later.

The main landscaped areas were created almost entirely from new, with more than 80 percent of the planting introduced during construction. Pre-established hedging and trees, together with our accelerated planting systems, gave the garden an immediate sense of structure and maturity.

Developed in close collaboration with the newlyweds, the design combines expansive outdoor living spaces with richly layered planting, sculptural water features and structured hedging. Planting at the upper part of the property helps stabilise the hillside while integrating it into the wider garden.

A mature palm was craned onto the site and carefully positioned at the front of the home, visually anchoring the architecture within the landscape.

Despite its recent completion, the garden already feels lush, settled and naturally connected to the home.
